MARION COUNTY,Ind (July 16,2015)– Our cameras were there as The Marion County Sheriff’s criminal warrants unit hit the streets, looking for some of the most dangerous criminals in Indianapolis.
The first target of the afternoon was Charlie McNeal. He has a long criminal history which includes drugs, battery and gun charges. Mcneal is considered a violent dangerous felon.
The warrant unit checks a known address for McNeal.
“Come out Charlie, we will wait all day,” said one of the officers as they knocked on McNeal’s home.
The TV was on in the bedroom, but there were no signs of McNeal. The warrants unit regrouped and went after Nicholas Anderson.
Anderson has previous drug charges and skipped out on court.
“We know he is at this address right now,” said Lt. Lewis Perrine.
As soon as the Sheriff’s deputies knocked, Anderson ran towards the back of the house. He eventually surrendered. However, once officers tried putting him into a squad car, he started to resist.
